Female Weight Loss: Are Vitamins Effective?

Many women are unhappy with their bodies and I was once one of those women. I did not like the number of the scale or the size clothes that I wore. I knew that I had to lose weight so that I could be happy and healthy. I knew that diet and exercise were important for weight loss, but I also decided to try taking vitamins. Some of the vitamins for women that I recommend include: fish oil, Vitamin D and Vitamin C.

Many health experts encourage people to take fish oil because it is good for the heart and many other parts of the body. I found that taking it helped me shed pounds faster. Fish oil contains the essential omega 3 fatty acids and studies have shown that most people do not get enough of this nutrient. I recommend taking 3 fish oil capsules per day; that equals 300 milligrams of omega 3 fatty acids.

A couple of months ago, I went to the doctor and found out that I was Vitamin D deficient. Ironically, I went home and did research and found that low levels of Vitamin D is linked to weight gain as well as many other health problems. I started taking a supplement because it was recommended by my doctor, but I ended up losing about five pounds in one month. Even though Vitamin D can easily be obtained by ingesting dairy products, taking a supplement may also help with weight loss.

Vitamin C is another one of the vitamins that I took when I was trying to lose weight. Studies have shown that nearly 40% of women do not get enough of this nutrient and that can be a barrier to weight loss. Researchers have found that this vitamin helps increase the rate at which the body burns fat, particularly doing aerobic exercise. Health experts recommend that women take about 75 mg of Vitamin C per day.

Vitamins can be very beneficial for weight loss and female enhancement. However, it is important to note that taking vitamins alone probably will not work. A well-balanced diet and exercise program has to be followed in order for a person to get the best results.

The key to being healthier with no fat and recovered muscles is adding a vitamin supplement to a diet. It’s vital to look upon the amount that’s right for the body considering gender and age. Not only you can see the difference when looking at the mirror but also your body and your mind will feel it every day. Looking good helps feeling great and increase everyday activity. The effectiveness of vitamin supplements makes me look better, feel better and make everything greater for me and my lifestyle.
